Saturday 22nd September was a big event in Port Lincoln. It was the Port Lincoln Football League 2012 grand final.
Tasman's vs Mallee Park. Tasman's home ground is right in town at Centennial Park, they've been a team since 1946. Mallee Park formed in 1980 and are an all indigenous team. It was a pretty windy day, there was a definite advantage being at the Southern end of the ground. Mallee Park seemed to lead in skill but Tasman's took the lead in fitness and ended up winning the game.
